Can you bring your own drinks on Amtrak?
You may bring your own food and beverages onboard for consumption at your seat or private Sleeping Car accommodations. However, you can only consume food and beverages purchased in Dining and Lounge Cars in those cars. Personal food and beverages are allowed in the upper level of Superliner Sightseer Lounges.
Can you use unused NJ TRANSIT tickets?
One-Way Tickets One continuous trip between the stations on the ticket. One-way tickets are valid until used (no expiration) and are non-refundable.
Can NJ TRANSIT ticket be scanned twice?
Upon displaying their ticket or pass, either paper or through the mobile app, the train crew member will scan the barcode, including on monthly passes, rather than visually inspecting passes or punching paper tickets. Once scanned and validated, single-ride paper tickets will not be able to be used again.

You may bring aboard your own private stock of alcoholic beverages subject to the following limitations: You may consume private stock alcoholic beverages only in Sleeping Car accommodations for which you have a valid ticket. You may not consume private stock alcoholic beverages in any public areas.
How long do NJ Transit tickets stay active for?
One-way and round-trip mobile tickets do not expire. They are valid until activated. FLEXPASS is valid for 30 days from and including the date of purchase. All tickets associated with a FLEXPASS must be used before the 30-calendar day expiry.
